Q: How do I get data on site visitation and other analytics?

A: You will need to create a Google Analytics account and set it up through Google Tag Manager (link to google support pages). Then, add your GTM Container ID under site options > misc.

Q: Where can I update the buttons that appear in the main nav?

A: While the navigation items are managed in the “Menus” section, the buttons in the top nav are managed in site options > headers & footers. You can add up to two buttons on desktop and one button on mobile.

Q: Can I add search functionality to the site?

A: Yes, please contact us to activate this feature on your site.

Q: How can I upload and link to a PDF for download?

A: Navigate to Media in the left-hand menu in the admin. Upload your PDF. Once complete view the media item and copy the ‘File URL’ – this is a public URL that you can link to or share. Simply add the URL the same way you would add another link to link to the PDF.

Q: Can I add other components to the News or Resources landing page?

A: No, the layout of those dynamic pages is locked and no other components can be added.

Q: I need to add a DNS record to my domain, how do I do so?

A: On most Archie sites, we host your DNS, so contact us and send the details of the record to be added and we can assist.

Q: Can I update the fonts and colors on my site?

A: No, we code the colors, fonts and other basic styles of your site in the backend based on the approved designs. This helps your site’s look and feel stay consistent.
