Dynamic vs Static Content

Archie is made up of two primary page content types: Static and Dynamic pages.

Static pages are your standard pages – made up of your choice of components from the Archie component library. These pages are flexible and can accommodate a range of content. Some might refer to this type of page as a “Build Your Own” or BYO page because of its flexibility.

Archie has 3 sections of Dynamic content: Resources, News and Actions. These are called dynamic because creating individual news articles, resources or actions will populate on their respective landing pages dynamically.

For example, adding an individual news article will create both the article detail page and the article listing on the news landing page and all of the content is managed in one place.
