February Maintenance and Updates to the News and Resources Modules

February’s deploy focused on a series of updates to our related news and resources modules in addition to our regular security updates and maintenance.

News Feed – Card Layout Option

The news feed component, now has an additional setting to display in a card-style layout instead of the default feed-style layout. You’ll see a new radio button option on the News Feed component. This hasn’t changed the way the component is administered, but has added new flexible layout options!

Related News and Resources on Individual Article Pages

Leveraging the layout options of the News and Resource feed components, we’ve added an option to display related News or Resource articles on an individual news or resource page. This allows you to automatically serve up related content to your uses on these pages. When editing an individual news or resource article, you’ll see a new section to manage how you would like to show those related resources: the three most recent, three most recent within a specific category or you can manually select articles to feature.

This new feature does require a back-end setting activations, so please contact us if you’d like to try it out!
